How It Works
In order to have the best results possible for your skin health and makeup on your wedding day, many of our clients follow this timeline beginning 8 months to 1 year prior to their wedding day.
1. Inquire About Your
Wedding Date
We typically book weddings 8-12 months in advance. It’s best to contact us right away for the best possible availability for your date. Click the button below to fill out our inquiry form and inquire about your date.
2. Intro Facial & Skin Consultation
Your Intro Facial appointment will begin with a consultation to talk through your skin concerns and things you would like to improve for your wedding day. During the facial, Melody will administer a customized facial treatment based on your skin needs. At the end of the appointment, she will advise on skincare products, day and nighttime care routines, gut health, and much more to help you achieve your skin goals. You will leave feeling refreshed, clean, glowing and with an at-home action plan of how to achieve your healthiest, best skin ever.
3. Continued
At Home Care
At the end of your intro facial and skin consultation, our professional esthetician will advise on an at-home night time and daytime skincare routine. Staying consistent with your skincare routine is very key! We may also make suggestions of other lifestyle changes such as switching to a natural detergent. The more committed you are to our suggestions, the better your results are likely to be.
4. Monthly Facial Treatments
Monthly facial treatments are a great idea to ensure flawless skin on your wedding day. We can create a custom facial treatment plan for you depending on your skin health needs. For fully in depth skin repair, we suggest monthly facials for 8 months to 1 year leading up to your wedding day. At a minimum, we like to see our brides for at least three monthly facials leading up to the wedding day.
5. Bridal Makeup Preview
Your make up preview appointment will take place at our Milwaukee spa location. The appointment will be up to two hours.
First, we’ll talk you through our suggestions for the timeline and logistical details for your wedding day. We want to ensure your wedding day is as smooth and stress free as possible!
Next, we’ll talk about your wants and needs for your bridal makeup look. Whether you want something light and natural, bold lipstick, or a smokey eye, we got you! Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and feeling like the best version of yourself.
We recommend getting good use out of your makeup trial by going out for a girls night, having your dress fitting, your hair preview appointment, or a date night with you and your honey!
6. Wedding Day Mini-Facial and Makeup
On the morning of your wedding day, our team starts by creating a calming, spa-like experience to start your day off in the right frame of mind. We set up away from the hustle and bustle of the group, giving you some alone time before all the fun begins. You’ll be given a relaxing “mini-facial” to help hydrate and calm your skin while aiding in the longevity of your makeup application.
We are the only Artist Team to offer this in the greater Milwaukee area! Our brides rave about how this quiet time in the morning helps to ease any stress or nerves!
After your skin is prepped, we will apply our professional makeup that was determined in your makeup preview. You’ll stay looking naturally beautiful and photo-ready all night!
Don’t Forget Your Girls!
Moms & Bridesmaids
It’s common amongst our brides to gift their girls/family’s their wedding day makeup applications. This can be a great alternative instead of gift bags filled with kitschy bridesmaid things. It’s always greatly appreciated as we all know how quickly everything can become costly for the wedding party.
When we first meet your girls, before we apply any makeup, we talk through their comfortability with makeup.
Our focus is always to make sure they feel comfortable, confident, and like the best version of themselves. We use luxury, natural products made for sensitive skin. We do not offer airbrushing.
