We have a trained eye (and ear) to ask the right questions to get to the root cause of your problems, help identify potential causes of imbalances, and give actionable solutions and treatments to improve your skin health.
Melody Switzer
Owner & Founder
Professional Makeup Artist & Esthetician
Melody is a Wisconsin Licensed Esthetician, Professional Makeup Artist and Independent Spa Owner of Melody Sopa Artistry.
She has been active in the beauty industry since 2009. Her humble beginnings began working as a makeup artist in Nordstrom while studying photography at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. She fell in love with makeup and after moving back to Milwaukee began working for Blush in the Third Ward. There, she honed her skills in beauty and had some of her first experiences with bridal makeup.
In 2011, she started taking freelance wedding gigs including bridal makeup, styled shoots, modeling, and photography. In 2015, she attended the Aveda Institute, studying esthetics. Her dream was to open her own spa and be a one-stop-shop for wellness and beauty, providing services for skincare, gut health, makeup, and more.
In 2016, her dreams were realized when she opened her first spa location in Elm Grove. Since then, the spa outgrew the space and relocated to downtown Milwaukee where it remains today.
Currently, Melody and her team offer facial treatment services at her spa location and specialize in a holistic, skin-first approach to bridal and portrait makeup. Melody is Custom Blend Foundation certified with Motives Cosmetics which allows her to achieve extraordinarily natural, fresh, and timeless makeup that look and feel like your true skin.
Her work has been featured on covers of the Wisconsin Bride Magazine. Six years in a row she was a Top 3 Finalist for Best Wedding Makeup by Wisconsin Bride Magazine. A huge honor as an independent artist and spa owner. She has also been awarded Beauty Advisor of the Year by Shop.com International four years in a row.

Jill
Lead Artist & Licensed Esthetician
Jill is a licensed esthetician and makeup artist with over a decade of experience in the beauty industry. Jill has worked as an esthetician at prestigious locations such as the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva and Well Spa in the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, WI. Jill is also certified in custom blend foundation and specializes in creating beautiful bridal makeup looks that enhance her clients’ natural beauty.
As a mom of two young children, Jill has a nurturing personality that shines through on the wedding day. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable, beautiful, and loved. With Jill on your beauty team, you can trust that you will receive personalized makeup services that will leave you feeling confident and radiant on your special day. Jill’s passion for making her clients feel beautiful and loved makes her a favorite among brides. Her expertise and warm personality make her a great person to have on your bridal makeup team!
Felicia
Makeup Artist
Felicia, Melody’s sister, has been a freelance makeup artist for nearly a decade, specializing in beauty makeup. She has a great hand for precise details like cat eye liner and bold lipstick. Her friendly, happy personality makes for a super fun and laid back makeup experience. You’ll leave Felicia’s chair feeling beautiful and like you’ve made a new friend.
In addition to her work as a makeup artist, Felicia is also a talented painter specializing in large-scale custom murals that can be found in Arte and Cafe Hollander in Wauwatosa.

I went for several facials starting almost a year and a half before the wedding and then a makeup trial a month before. My bridesmaids and I looked absolutely gorgeous. Her makeup feels so natural.
