Where are you located?
Melody Sopa Artistry is located at 720 N. Milwaukee St., 303, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
Look for the large light wood colored door to the left of Carnevor, to the right of Flourchild Pizza. Go up to the third floor and the suite is to the right of the staircase. You will be greeted with an emerald green bench where you can have a seat and remove your shoes until your scheduled appointment time.
If the door is closed, please do not knock as Melody is likely either still with a client or cleaning up between clients and need a quick moment to set up and sanitize for you.
If the door is open, Melody is ready for you! Please leave your shoes on the rug by the green bench before you enter, so be prepared to come in without shoes on, hang up your coat as soon as you enter my doors to the right, and come on in!
Do not go to the Scott Free Salon with the red door! That is a few buildings away. MSA is next to Carnevor and Flourchild pizza.

Where do I park?
Street parking is about $4 for 2 hours MAX. Quarters are best and the parking spots do apply to the MKEPARK app. There are also public parking lots and structures just round the corner and a half of a block up Milwaukee Street.

What do I do once I arrive for my appointment?
Melody is an on time gal, so if you are early, she will likely still be with a client. The door will be closed, so please do not knock. You are welcome to use the restroom or have a seat on the bench in front of the door.
If the door is open, that means she is ready for you! Please take your shoes off by the bench, hang your belongings on the wall rack and get settled in.

I am running late! What do I do?
If you know you will be more than 5 minutes late, please text before your scheduled appointment time. That number will be given after your appointment is booked.
If you arrive 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, there will be a late charge of $25.
If Melody cannot accommodate the late arrival past 25 minutes, the appointment time will be cut short to accommodate the late arrival and not to not affect the other clients after you and the cost of the service will still be due in full.

What forms of payment do you take?
Full payment via credit card is required for all spa bookings made online. If Melody books your in spa service for you, it will not charge your credit card. Cash in person is also accepted, if Melody booked your appointment and your credit card has not been charged.
Gratuity is not added to any services and is only accepted via cash or Private Venmo: @Melody-Sopa.
Bridal previews are included in the VIP & Luxury package, and any gratuity is welcome via cash or Private Venmo for our 2 hour service together.

What is the cancellation policy?
Life happens, weβve been there! The sooner you know you are unable to make the appointment, the better.
If you cancel under 2 days or the day before your appointment day, you will be charged 50% of your service as a cancellation fee.
If you cancel the day of your appointment or 24 hours and under, you will be charged 100%.
If you reschedule after cancelling, the cancellation fee is due in addition to performing the service on the new appointment time.

Can I bring people to my appointment?
Because Melody Sopa Artistry is in a private studio, not a busy salon environment, only the individual receiving the scheduled service is able to be in the treatment room. If you need to bring a guest, please ask Melody beforehand.
Brides: Please come alone to your preview, unless it has already been discussed that you are bringing a guest. It gets to be a bit of a challenge having guests at your appointment when the focus is designed to be on you. When there are more people, the appointment naturally takes longer and the focus gets lost.

I am sick and I can't make my appointment. What do I do?
For your safety, staff and other clients, if you or another person in your household has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. More than 48 hours is preferred. This applies to the cancellation policy.
If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. ***You will be responsible for payment of your appointment if sent home sick.
